While we serve the working equids in the villages surrounding Antigua, our own hearts are filled by their generosity and loving spirits. ☑️Observe them during feeding time, scan their whole body.
☑️Check their legs, hair, face, especially the right side farthest from the side you buckle the halter.
Early detection is paramount to successful treatment and chance of returning to their previous athletic level. If you see an odd swelling or thickness, early identification and examination by your vet can increase your horse’s chance of return to work.
